As some of you may know, the hosts are usually featured on the show’s website in a brand new photoshoot, which is always very pretty. Saoirse’s didn’t disappoint! These are the pics we saw during the breaks, but of course in better quality. We’ve added them to our gallery. Also… Mary, Queen of Scots? Is that you?

Saoirse continues to promote Lady Bird all over the United States, and The Los Angeles Times has just posted a new interview with her, which features a brand new photo session. We’ve added it to our gallery, and you can read their article below.

When Saoirse Ronan found out she’d be spending a couple of weeks in Los Angeles to promote her new film, “Lady Bird,” she asked to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel. She wanted to be able to light her Diptyque candles, do her own laundry and drink herbal tea before bed.

“I think it’s good for me to go back at the end of the night and look after myself,” says Ronan, 23.

But when she arrived at her temporary L.A. home, she found bags of groceries from Whole Foods awaiting her. Her mother, more than 5,000 miles away in Ireland, had ordered the provisions online.

“She bought vegetables for me to cook with,” the actress says. “I have such a great mam. She makes sure I’m getting a good dinner from across the pond.”

Ronan is exceptionally close to her mother, Monica. Growing up as an only child in Carlow, Ireland’s second-smallest county, she relished her relationship with her homemaker mother and actor father. They’d all watch “Seinfeld” together, and Ronan was such a rule-follower that she willingly did the dishes, because she wanted her parents “to be happy.”

Six top actresses — including Mary J. Blige, Jessica Chastain, Allison Janney and Saoirse Ronan — open up about risky roles and how the industry’s culture of abuse might finally be on the verge of change: “I feel hopeful because we’re not ignoring it anymore.”

Jennifer Lawrence had some advice for recent New York transplant Mary J. Blige on acclimating to life in Los Angeles. “Just make friends with your neighbors, like I did,” Lawrence, 27, said to Blige, 46, before the start of The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Actress Roundtable, held Nov. 11 at Line 204 Studios in Hollywood. The mother! and Mudbound stars were meeting for the first time, but Lawrence is already good friends with fellow Oscar winner Emma Stone, 29. And three of the participants — Stone (Battle of the Sexes), Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), 40; and Allison Janney (I, Tonya), 57 — worked together on 2011’s The Help. And all seemed endlessly fascinated by the thick Irish accent of Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), 23, so much so that nearly everyone attempted their own Ronan impression before the hourlong conversation was over. Of course, it wasn’t all laughs, especially not this year with the horrors of sexual harassment in the headlines. The actresses came with strong opinions on the subject, which quickly segued into a frank debate on how sexism and harassment are intertwined with the issue of pay inequality in Hollywood. Depressing? Yes, but given the attention on this subject, Janney noted, “It’s exciting to think of our culture changing.”

Hey guys! I have finally started reorganizing our photo gallery! It was brought to my attention that several old albums had errors and the pictures weren’t showing – it turns out our backup was corrupted, and when we brought the site back online in January some of our files were lost. So I have been slowly replacing them, and Saoirse’s photoshoots from 2007 to 2011 should be alright now. I have also found 7 sessions on my external HD from one of the site’s very first backups – probably done in late 2013 – that had never been uploaded to our gallery for some reason, and they have now been added.

Saoirse has recently talked to TIME Magazine about her career and her current work in the play ‘The Crucible’ – she describes her character, Abigail, and her motivations, stating she believes it is important for her to play intelligent women, “because I think in art, you have a responsibility to portray real life”. A new beautiful photo was released along with the article, which you can see/read below.

Saoirse RonanIt’s two hours before the curtain goes up, and Saoirse Ronan is making a cup of tea in her cramped dressing room. She offers me a cup, though thankfully not the “gross” licorice-flavored kind Ronan is drinking to revive her voice before she takes the Broadway stage as Abigail, the manipulative maid at the heart of Arthur Miller’s play The Crucible. As the Irish actor, whose name is pronounced “Ser-sha,” searches for her favorite green mug, we discuss how Abigail is traditionally played as a teenage seductress who beguiles the noble John Proctor. When the older man later casts out Abigail, she brings the 17th century Massachusetts town of Salem to its knees by accusing Proctor’s wife and others of witchcraft.

At least that’s the way U.S. schools usually teach it, I tell her. “I bet it was a male teacher who told you she was the villain,” she jokes in reply. To Ronan, Abigail is more victim than victimizer. “She’s usually played quite vampy and sexual and all that. I wasn’t going to do that. I just thought she’s a 17-year-old, quite precocious, very smart. But she’s hormonal and emotional because she’s 17, and this older man gives her time and attention. As far as she’s concerned, he’s in love with her, she’s in love with him, and she’ll do anything for them to be together,” she says. “And I respect that actually. ”
