Our gallery has been updated with more concept art images from ‘Loving Vincent’, as well as photos of original paintings of Saoirse made for the film, which are currently bein sold on the production’s official website.
Hello everyone! We have recently decided to start a fan project in honor of Saoirse’s 23rd Birthday, which is on April 12, 2017. Our current idea is to make her a scrapbook, containing any kind of content created by you guys and put together by us. That means you can write Saoirse a letter, make her a drawing, write her a song – anything you want, and we will include it in a fanmade book that will be sent her way in March. Pictures of yourself with DVDs of her films, her shows, autographed stuff, and even pictures with her (if you’re lucky to have one!) are also great ideas to include.
If you’re making her anything by hand – letter, drawing and etc – make sure the image you send us of it is clear. Needless to say, anything that seems disrespectful to Saoirse herself, her family or work colleagues will not be included. Other than that, feel free to let your imagination go wild. If it fits in a book, it will be on ours.
If you wanna take part in our project, please send the content you wish to include in the scrapbook to email@example.com until February 12, 2017, and make sure you include your name and preferably the place you are from. You can also e-mail us any questions you might have, or you can contact us via Twitter and Facebook.
Saoirse has confirmed she is still attached to the film MARY, QUEEN OF SCOTS, which was first announced by Deadline back in 2012. Josie Rourke, the Donmar Warehouse’s artistic chief, has agreed to direct the motion picture, and filming begins in 2017. This project has been in and out of Saoirse’s IMDb page ever since we first opened the site, so we couldn’t be happier it is finally going into production.
Crowned the queen of Scotland before she was a year old, Mary added to that pedigree when her first husband became France’s king and she became queen consort in 1559. Despite that auspicious start, things didn’t go well from there. She later married her first cousin, a bad match that ended with his murder. When she quickly married the man suspected of orchestrating the killing, an uprising against the couple resulted in her imprisoned in Loch Leven Castle. Forced to abdicate her throne to her year-old son, she failed in an attempt to wrest back the throne and fled for the protection of her cousin, England’s Queen Elizabeth 1. If you’ve seen Elizabeth or any movie about that period, you know how well that worked out for Mary, who’d once claimed to be the rightful queen of England, a view embraced by Catholics. Once she was perceived as a threat by her cousin, Mary was confined and ultimately executed for complicity in a plot to assassinate Elizabeth.
Our gallery has been updated with high quality screen captures from Saoirse’s scenes in ‘Brooklyn’, which was released in 2015. Saoirse starred with actors Domhnall Gleeson and Emory Cohen, and received over 30 nominations for her work film, including Best Actress at the Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Academy Awards.
Saoirse was sighted on the set of ‘Lady Bird’ in New York City back in October. Our site was offline then, so we have just added the pictures to our photo gallery. The film does not have a release date yet.
Hello everyone! I’m so happy to announce our site is back online! We have changed our name from Saoirse Ronan Fan to I HEART SAOIRSE, and we have a new domain to go with it: saoirse-ronan.com. We love it and we hope you do too! Our complete gallery is back as well, of course, and you can access it through saoirse-ronan.com/gallery.
Saoirse hosted a gala benefit performance of “Finian’s Rainbow” at the The Irish Repertory Theatre in New York City earlier today. Our gallery has been updated with images from the event.
