Saoirse attended the AFI Awards last night in Los Angeles! Lady Bird was named one of their films of the year, but there were no competition between actors, directors or anyone else. There also didn’t seem to be many photographers, but we’ve managed to update our gallery with some images from the event.
Saoirse was on Good Morning America and Live With Kelly & Ryan earlier today to promote Lady Bird! Their official channels have posted clips, and we have updated our gallery with a picture of her GMA appearance.
Saoirse hosted Saturday Night Live for the very first time last night, and it was glorious! We are still humming “Welcome To Hell”, and we really hope they release those pictures of her they showed during the breaks. We had a lot of fun livetweeting the show last night with you guys!
Our gallery has been updated with images from the episode. This is sort of a weird category, but we’ve added it under “Public Appearances”, like we do with talk shows. We know the show’s Youtube channel has a lot of countries blocked, but we haven’t found an alternative to share the videos yet. I’m sorry!

Saoirse attended Variety’s Actors on Actors, Day 2! This is a series in which actors interview one another, and we usually get fantastic videos from it. Back in 2016, while promoting Brooklyn, Saoirse interviewed (and was interviewed by) Kate Winslet, and, now that she’s promoting Lady Bird, she got paired up with actress Kristen Wiig. She is actually a huge fan of Wiig’s, so we’re super excited that they got to spend some time together! Our gallery has been updated with pictures from the event, and some of them are hilarious.
Saoirse attended the Governors Awards last night! Our gallery has been updated with images from the event.
Saoirse is on the cover of W Magazine’s Special His & Hers issue! We’ve uploaded an image to our gallery, and you can read their description of this issue below.
Brilliant. Talented. Funny. Determined. Charming. Alluring. Inventive. The women and men in W’s annual Royals portfolio—as seen here in October’s ten his and hers covers—are all that and then some, and they rose to the top of their fields by sheer force of will. This annual issue has become a treasured tradition— see last year’s class here— our attempt to pay tribute to those in film, television, fashion, and society who have earned the right to call themselves royals, permanent and beloved fixtures in our consciousness. For 2017, we decided to celebrate 25 men and women who dare to challenge stereotypes and conventions by choosing exactly who they want to be—Risk-taking actors like Tilda Swinton and Jared Leto, Renaissance people like Shirley MacLaine and Pharrell Williams, controversial figures like Winona Ryder and Marc Jacobs, forward-thinking activists and philanthropists, like Faye Wattleton and Amandla Stenberg, plus many more. In short, they are the heroes of our time and W’s role models for the next generation. And, yes, it bears repeating: They rule.
