Saoirse attended Variety’s Actors on Actors, Day 2! This is a series in which actors interview one another, and we usually get fantastic videos from it. Back in 2016, while promoting Brooklyn, Saoirse interviewed (and was interviewed by) Kate Winslet, and, now that she’s promoting Lady Bird, she got paired up with actress Kristen Wiig. She is actually a huge fan of Wiig’s, so we’re super excited that they got to spend some time together! Our gallery has been updated with pictures from the event, and some of them are hilarious.

Saoirse Ronan Saoirse and Kate Winslet (most known for films such as ‘Sense & Sensibility’, ‘Titanic’, ‘The Reader’ and most recently ‘Steve Jobs’) sat down for a conversation for Variety’s ‘Actors On Actors’ December issue. The actresses talked about their recent films, the beginning of their careers, their choices and motivations. Saoirse talked about ‘Brooklyn’ and how she felt playing a character that hit so close to home, and explained why she first related the book to her parents rather than herself. Variety has uploaded the complete video to their website, and you can watch it below.

Saoirse, Domhnall Gleeson and director John Crowley discuss the acclaimed period drama ‘Brooklyn’ at the Toronto Film Festival. Saoirse mentions she had already read the novel years before the script ever came to her, and when it did she found it so amazing that there were no changes to be made. Watch it below.
